The performance of Ralph Halliwell proved critical in helping Oklahoma City beat Honolulu, 6-4. The Wranglers catcher was 3-5 with a home run and 2 doubles. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3. Oklahoma City is now 33-40.

Halliwell had a game-changing home run in the top of the ninth. On a 0-2 fastball from Gilroy Hovanec, he banged a 3-run home run to center, giving the Wranglers a 6-4 lead. It was the 2nd home run of the year for Halliwell.

"Good, blue-collar kind of win," said Wranglers manager Jim Petit.
