Sidewinders Win with Late Heroics
The Inland Empire 66ers could not turn a fine performance from pitcher Zenaido Mejia into a win. Instead, the Tucson Sidewinders prevailed, 4-2, in 10 innings. Mejia threw 6.0 innings of 2-hit ball. The Sidewinders have now won 5 straight.

Tucson got a knockout punch from Grant Burnett. The left fielder hammered a 2-run home run in the bottom of the tenth inning to win the game. It might've been his only hit, but it decided the outcome.

In postgame comments, Burnett said he was glad to contribute to an exciting win.
