Angels Drop 3-2 Decision to Athletics
The Oakland Athletics did just enough to sneak past the California Angels, 3-2, at O.co Coliseum. Oakland right fielder Jacob Hitchens, in particular, had a standout performance. With the win, Oakland goes to 27-23, while the Angels fall to 32-18.

Hitchens turned the game around in the bottom of the seventh. That's when the Oakland right fielder dialed up a 2-run home run. Just like that, Oakland's 2-1 deficit turned into a 3-2 lead.

"We faced good pitching and still got it done," said Hitchens.
