Jackson Lays Hammer Down in 3-0 Win
|
Reno starter K.J. Jackson put a stranglehold on the Oklahoma City offense. The left-hander had complete command of his splitter in leading the Aces to a 3-0 win. Yonelvy Reyes earned the save for Reno, his 1st of the year. Reno is now 28-40, Oklahoma City 33-35.
It was an impressive outing from the soft-spoken Jackson, who tallied 10 strikeouts in 8.1 innings and allowed only 5 hits. Jackson, who is rated as the 44th best prospect by BNN, raised his record to 4-0 on the year with 26 strikeouts.
"I have a really good team behind me," Jackson said. "I trust them 100 percent."
