Chihuahuas Suffer One-Run Loss at Iowa
The Cubs grabbed a win, 4-3, at Principal Park, overcoming a fine effort from El Paso pitcher Hoyt Coltrane. Coltrane went 5.2 innings and allowed 1 run. The win makes Iowa 28-39.

Had Augusto Bernabe not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the seventh, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and runners on 1st and 3rd, Bernabe hit a run-scoring single. That made the score 4-3, in favor of the Cubs.

"We put a lot of pressure on ourselves," Bernabe told a Iowa Herald reporter. "Sometimes we just need to relax."
