The El Paso Chihuahuas defeated the Honolulu ThunderSharks, 13-6, at Smith's Ballpark. El Paso third baseman Jake Nicosia had a superb performance. He went 4 for 4 with 4 singles and 2 walks, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2. El Paso reliever David R. Glover picked up the win, upping his record to 3-0. Mark Greenland absorbed the loss. The win hiked the El Paso record to 36-32.

In the top of the fourth, El Paso right fielder Miguel Benavidez had a productive at-bat. With the bases loaded and one out, Benavidez stroked a run-scoring single to center. It made the score 5-3, El Paso. For the game, he went 3-4 with 2 doubles and 2 walks, while scoring 2 and driving in 2.

"We knocked the fire out of the ball," said El Paso manager Sawyer Sandbach. "The guys swung the bats pretty good, and that's fun to see."
