Frazier Now 5-4 After Subduing Cardinals
|
Cleveland Indians starter Shayne Frazier worked his magic, to help his team defeat the St. Louis Cardinals, 5-0. Cleveland is now 29-21, while St. Louis is 21-29.
Frazier, a native of Greater Carrollwood, Florida, was dealing all game. He kept St. Louis hitters off-balance, while giving the Indians 8 quality innings. Frazier threw 100 pitches, allowing 2 hits and striking out 6.
"The key at this level is throwing strike one," said Frazier. "Successful pitchers do it."
