The Reno Aces could not turn a fine performance from right fielder Kent Glisson into a win. Instead, the Nashville Sounds prevailed, 8-4. Glisson was 2 for 4 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. Nashville is now 21-44.

Nashville catcher Sterling Lambert contributed a timely at-bat in the top of the eighth. With two down, he hit a fastball to right field for a 2-run single. It was his 15th hit of the season and put the Sounds ahead, 8-4.

"I feel like a little kid every time I put the uniform on," said Lambert.
