Isotopes Rally to Nose Past Omaha
|
Omaha wasted a solid 6.1-inning effort from starting pitcher Declan Conner, losing to Albuquerque, 2-1, at Isotopes Park. Albuquerque reliever Terence DeCordoba picked up the win, upping his record to 3-1. Spenser Lawson absorbed the loss. The second-place Isotopes now have a record of 38-29.
The decisive blow was delivered by Dustin Lange in the bottom of the ninth when he hit a 2-run home run off 31-year old right-handed pitcher Spenser Lawson to win the game for Albuquerque. The home crowd went nuts.
"It's what good teams do, find a way to win," said Lange.
