The Sacramento River Cats got a sterling performance from pitcher Jaxon DiDonato, but the Oklahoma City Wranglers still prevailed, 7-6. DiDonato came in in relief and pitched to 16 batters. The win belonged to Gabe Mattox in relief. His record improves to 2-1. Étienne Laliberté took the loss for Sacramento. Ellis Fido, who was drafted in the 2nd round of the 2054 draft, nailed down the save.
Luther Broadnax, who is tied for 9th in the PCL in hits with 69, helped out the Oklahoma City cause in the top of the second inning with a run-scoring sacrifice fly. For the game, the first baseman drove in one run.
"We just try to have good at-bats, whether we're winning, losing, or tied," said Broadnax.
The 7th-place Wranglers have a record of 28-34.
