The skies opened up and the rain fell at Blues Stadium.

Despite a great performance by Reno center fielder Jason Ball, the El Paso Chihuahuas defeated the Aces by the score of 7-2 at Blues Stadium. Ball went 2 for 4 with 2 home runs. With the win, El Paso goes to 29-32, while the Aces fall to 21-40.

One pivotal at-bat came with two out in the bottom of the fifth. With runners on 1st and 2nd and Reno trailing 3-1, Zach Kerwick needed to bear down against Elliot Britton. Kerwick won the battle, as Britton grounded out and the Chihuahuas went on to win.
