The Albuquerque Isotopes overcame a good performance by Reno designated hitter Daniel Lugo to knock off Reno, 7-4, at Blues Stadium. Lugo slugged 2 home runs. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice. The victory gives the Isotopes a record of 34-26.

The Isotopes got a big at-bat from second baseman Ichabod Majerus. For the game, Majerus was 1 for 3 with a double and 2 walks. In the top of the first, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a run-scoring double. His 7th double of the season gave Albuquerque a 1-0 lead.

Majerus told a local reporter: "My job is to go out and play as hard as I can."
