The El Paso Chihuahuas used an offensive barrage to beat the Inland Empire 66ers, 10-2, at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark. Frederick Jones, who is tied for 9th in the PCL in RBI with 35, led the way, going 1-for-4 for El Paso. David R. Glover, 2-0, earned the win in relief. He allowed 2 runs on 1 hit in 3 innings. El Paso is now 28-30, while Inland Empire is 32-26.

Early in the game, Jones had a grand slam home run for El Paso. It was his 9th home run of the season and put the Chihuahuas on top, 4-0.

"I think we did a good job of looking for pitches we wanted to hit and put good swings on them," said El Paso skipper Sawyer Sandbach.
