Express Stick Triplets with 6-2 Loss
Carlos Parra was outstanding against Evansville. The right-hander, who is tied for 6th in the PCL with a 1.11 WHIP, had a fastball that was virtually unhittable at times. The result was a Express 6-2 win. Ron Black closed the game out for Round Rock, earning his 6th save. The Express now have a record of 33-24 with the win over Evansville.

Round Rock used the timely hitting of Benjamin Temple to seize the win. The shortstop stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the seventh inning to put the Express on top, 3-2. It was his only hit in 2 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"This is a very good team," said Temple. "We have the chance to do something special."
