Baby Cakes Thrash Storm Chasers, 13-0
|
The New Orleans Baby Cakes picked up a win at Werner Park, knocking off the Omaha Storm Chasers, 13-0. Starting pitcher Greyson Tadic was an essential part of his team's success. New Orleans now sits at 34-20, while Omaha falls to 14-40.
Will McBee, the 24-year old center fielder , had a direct impact on the outcome. McBee contributed a 2-run single in the top of the third inning to put New Orleans up, 5-0.
