New Orleans got a first-rate effort from pitcher Brandon Regan, who frustrated Omaha hitters en route to a 3-0 Baby Cakes triumph at Werner Park. Regan got the win, improving to 3-3. He allowed 3 hits and walked 3 over 6.1 innings. Regan allowed no runs. With the victory, the Baby Cakes record now stands at 33-20.

New Orleans used the timely hitting of Hosea Gochenour to seize the win. The catcher stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the seventh inning to put the Baby Cakes on top, 2-0. It was his only hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"Being able to contribute to a win is always a great feeling," Gochenour told the New Orleans Times.
