Starting pitcher Steve Mullen had a solid game. He was a big reason the Tacoma Rainiers throttled the Round Rock Express, 2-1 in 10 innings. The Rainiers lead the Pacific Coast League Pacific Division by 6½ games.

Tacoma used the timely hitting of Camden Taylor to seize the win. The catcher stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the tenth inning to put the Rainiers on top, 2-1. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"I was able to fill up the zone," said Mullen.
