Sacramento starter Emmett Lucas throttled the Nashville offense, as the River Cats won in a rout, 11-2. Lucas yielded 1 run over 5.2 innings to notch the win. He scattered 2 hits, walked 4, and struck out 5. His record improves to 5-4. The River Cats raised their record to 28-22.

Mauricio Lee had a big 2-run double for the River Cats in the bottom of the fourth inning. With Sacramento leading 3-1 and the bases loaded, he got a fastball from Samuel Heck, who is tied for 2nd in the PCL in complete games with 1, and swatted a double to right-center. It was his 4th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the River Cats ahead, 5-1.
