The Tacoma Rainiers extended their winning streak.

D.J. Lerman knocked in 3 runs to help the Tacoma Rainiers win, 9-4, over the Omaha Storm Chasers. Tacoma leads the Pacific Coast League Pacific Division by 5 games.

With Tacoma leading 4-3 in the bottom of the sixth, Lerman hit a fastball from Kelly Acitelli for a 2-run home run. It was his 7th home run of the season and put the Rainiers ahead, 6-3.

"It all comes down to competing and our guys love to compete," said Rainiers manager Steve Osborn.
