The Evansville Triplets met little resistance from the Reno Aces, beating them, 11-2, at Blues Stadium. Damian Mills led the way. He went 3 for 5 with a home run and 2 doubles. He scored 3 runs and drove in 3 for Evansville. Miguel Hermillo, the winner, is now 3-1. He struck out 5 and walked 0 over 8.1 innings, while allowing 2 runs on 8 hits. Evansville got a big at-bat from Rockford, Illinois native Tyler Maio, who in the top of the fourth hit a 3-run home run. It was his 18th home run of the season and put the Triplets ahead, 9-0.
