Starting pitcher Bernard Ennis pitched well enough to help the Edmonton Edge beat the Honolulu ThunderSharks, 5-3. Sebastian Anderson picked up the save for Edmonton, his 11th of the year. Edmonton has a record of 32-17, placing them first in the Pacific Coast League American Divison.

Edmonton used the timely hitting of Reggie Wright to seize the win. The center fielder stroked a 2-run single in the top of the eighth inning to put the Edge on top, 5-3. It was his only hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"Good win," said Wright. "Maybe some of the whiners in the clubhouse will pipe down for a little while now."
