It doesn't happen very often, but it did for Germano Centeno -- a 5-hit effort. He went on a rampage at Werner Park and paced the 6-4 Express win over the Omaha Storm Chasers.

After his dynamite batting performance, the Round Rock left fielder told reporters that he "just tried to get in a good count and have a good at-bat. That's all I can control."

His philosophy paid dividends today. He slammed 5 hits in 5 tries and put his name in the record book. Germano Centeno singled in the 1st, doubled in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, singled in the 6th and singled in the 8th.

For the year, Centeno is batting .307 with 3 home runs.
