J. David Thomas pitched a gem in leading Tacoma to a 3-0 victory over the Honolulu ThunderSharks. Getting the save was Gerald Coleman, his 12th. With the win, Tacoma goes to 30-22, while the ThunderSharks fall to 31-21.

Thomas dominated for Tacoma, raising his record to 2-3. Honolulu hitters had few good at-bats against the right-hander, who scattered 3 hits over 8 innings while striking out 4.

"J. David had good arm action, good stuff," said Tacoma manager Steve Osborn.
