Goldeyes Turn Away ThunderSharks, 6-4
|
The Winnipeg Goldeyes defeated the Honolulu ThunderSharks, 6-4. Doing his part was right fielder Quinney Bragg, who was 1 for 3 with a home run and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. The 6th-place Goldeyes have a record of 20-28.
Bragg contributed a big hit, a 3-run home run, for Winnipeg in the bottom of the fifth. With his team trailing 4-2, Bragg took a sinker from Mariano Wescott and stroked the home run to right. His 3rd home run of the season allowed the Goldeyes to leap in front, 5-4.
"I had some good swings out there," said Bragg.
