The Round Rock Express needed 10 innings to defeat the Inland Empire 66ers, 4-3, at Dell Diamond. Round Rock shortstop Benjamin Temple had a superb performance. He was 3-5 with a home run and 2 singles, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Ron Black picked up the win in relief. His record improves to 1-0. Anthony McAtee suffered the loss. With the victory, the Express upped their record to 28-19.
The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the tenth. With one out, Temple hit a cutter from Anthony McAtee for a run-scoring single. The Express, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.
