66ers Reel Off Another Win
The Inland Empire 66ers picked up a win at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark, topping the Iowa Cubs, 7-0. On the mound for Inland Empire was right-hander Zenaido Mejia. He played a principal role in the triumph. The 5th-place 66ers improved to 19-18.

Kevin Rabel had a big 3-run home run for the 66ers in the bottom of the third inning. With Inland Empire leading 1-0 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he got a curveball from Bill Cave and swatted a home run to right-center. It was his 4th home run of the season, and more importantly, it put the 66ers ahead, 4-0.

"The guys are feeling pretty good about where they're at right now," said 66ers manager J.D. Fayson. "We have a lot of guys playing with confidence."
