Behind the hitting of Michael Scott, the Honolulu ThunderSharks stopped the Nashville Sounds, 6-4. Scott was 2-2 with a double and a walk for the ThunderSharks. Harry Pollitt snagged the win in relief. He goes to 3-0 on the season. Edgardo Gil suffered the loss. The win puts Honolulu at 11-29.

Had Jaxson Daniels not delivered a key base hit in the top of the eighth, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and the bases loaded, Daniels hit a 2-run single. That made the score 6-4, in favor of the ThunderSharks.

"I liked our effort," said ThunderSharks manager Jimmy Anderson.
