Yankees Come Back Late to Top Tigers, 5-2
The Yankees grabbed a win, 5-2, at Comerica Park, overcoming a fine effort from Detroit pitcher Matt Telecky. Telecky went 6.2 innings and allowed 2 runs. New York pitcher Nicholas Sears got the win, upping his record to 2-3. Braxton Vaughn got the loss. Their 24-25 record puts the Yankees 4th in the National League Rivera Division.

New York used a timely hit from Enzo McKee to get the win. The second baseman stroked a bases-clearing double in the top of the ninth inning to put the Yankees ahead, 5-2. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it made an impact.

"Very good win for our guys," said McKee.
