El Paso Chihuahuas starter Blaise Wilson pitched a strong game against the Inland Empire 66ers at Southwest University park, leading the Chihuahuas to victory, 5-4. Wilson went 7 innings to notch the win. He scattered 4 hits, walked 3, and struck out 6. His record improves to 6-0. The save was credited to Vicente Gaytan, his 1st.

El Paso grabbed control in the bottom of the sixth. With two out and runners on 1st and 2nd, Colby Ray delivered a run-scoring single, to make it 3-2 in favor of the Chihuahuas.
