The Round Rock Express topped the Victoria HarbourCats, 8-6, with youngster Giosue Ceverini playing a key role. Ceverini was 4-4 with a home run, 2 doubles, and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3 for the Express in the win. Picking up the save was Cal Marisov, his 2nd. With the win, the Express sit at 25-15.

Round Rock used a clutch hit from Jeremy McCray to get the win. The left fielder drilled a 3-run home run in the top of the seventh inning to put the Express ahead, 7-6. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"It wasn't a pretty victory," said McCray, "but we got it done."
