New Orleans Earn 7-2 Victory at Blues Stadium
The New Orleans Baby Cakes defeated the Reno Aces, 7-2, in Pacific Coast League action at Blues Stadium. New Orleans pitcher Andy Hill had a standout performance. With the win, New Orleans upped its record to 21-13.

New Orleans won the game in part because of Luke McCulloch. The catcher ripped a 3-run home run in the top of the fourth inning to put the Baby Cakes ahead, 4-0. For the game, McCulloch had 1 double and 1 home run in 4 at-bats.

New Orleans manager Alex Orozco was pleased with the team's effort. "Our guys went out there and put good wood on the ball," he said.
