Behind a fine performance from Aiden Ferguson, the Round Rock Express knocked off the El Paso Chihuahuas, 9-3. Ferguson was 2-5 with a home run, while scoring 2 times and driving in 3 for the Express. Picking up the save was Noah Young, his 1st. The 7th-place Express bumped their record to 15-18.

The Chihuahuas had been locked in a 3-3 tie with the Express going into the top of the fifth inning. That changed quickly when the 22-year old first baseman Jacob Sehlhorst came to the plate. Sehlhorst hit a run-scoring double on a 0-1 fastball from El Paso hurler Crash Lyons. It was Sehlhorst's 6th double of the year.

"This team is real focused right now," said Round Rock manager Chris York.
