Pokey Scott was outstanding against Reno. The right-hander, who is tied for 2nd in the PCL in strikeouts with 46, had a fastball that was virtually unhittable at times. The result was a ThunderSharks 4-0 win. Ronald DiMaria earned the save for Honolulu, his 1st. Reno has now lost 6 in a row.

Scott scattered 3 hits over 6.1 innings for the ThunderSharks. With the win, Scott goes to 2-1 on the year with 46 strikeouts.

"We're in a funk and we need to shake ourselves out of it," said Reno manager Steve Kapp.
