Arias Rips 2 Home Runs in 6-2 River Cats Triumph
The Sacramento River Cats beat the Tucson Sidewinders, 6-2, at Greater Nevada Field. The win was due in part to designated hitter Yoenni Arias, who went 2 for 3 with 2 home runs and a walk, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice. Alex Ruiz earned the save for Sacramento, his 2nd of the year. Sacramento is 14-17 and Tucson, with the loss, 10-21.

With Sacramento leading 3-2 in the top of the fifth, Arias hit a fastball from Robert Valenzuela for a 3-run home run. It was his 9th home run of the season and put the River Cats ahead, 6-2.

"We'll relax tonight and get back after it tomorrow," Arias said after the game.
