Inland Empire beat Albuquerque on the strength of starting pitcher Bronco Marques's fine effort. The right-hander led his team to a win, 4-3. Jon Kilbarger recorded the save, his 7th. Albuquerque now is 14-11.

Who knows how it would've ended, had it not been for Kendrick McEnroe? The 26-year old center fielder McEnroe stroked a run-scoring double in the top of the seventh inning to put Inland Empire up, 4-3. For the game, he was 3 for 5, including 1 double and 2 singles.
