Getting offensive support from Ivory Herring, the Omaha Storm Chasers topped the Sacramento River Cats, 5-2. Herring was 3 for 4 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He scored 2 times for the Storm Chasers. Jameson Cromer sewed up the save, his 6th. With the win, Omaha lifts its record to 9-17.

In the top of the fourth inning, the Storm Chasers grabbed the lead when Frank Lieberth rapped a two-out single. Omaha was trailing 1-0, when Lieberth hit a 2-run single off Luan Oliveira to put his team in front, 2-1.

"This level of focus will win us a lot of ballgames," Herring said after the game.
