The Inland Empire 66ers had no problem beating the Sacramento River Cats, 12-3, at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark. Raffy Ortiz led the way. He was 4 for 5 with a triple and 3 singles, while scoring 3 for Inland Empire. The defeat makes Sacramento 12-11.

James Fancher had a big 3-run home run for the 66ers in the bottom of the second inning. With Inland Empire leading 1-0 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he sized up a curveball from 38-year old right-handed pitcher Max Rea and punished it. The result was his 1st home run of the season, which put the 66ers on top, 4-0.

"Nice to score a bunch of runs," said Fancher after the game.
