Levinson Leads River Cats to 4-1 Win over Aces
|
The Sacramento River Cats picked up a win at Blues Stadium, taking down the Reno Aces, 4-1. Starting pitcher Nick Levinson was a big reason why. Joshua Campbell got the save, the 1st for him this season. The Aces fall to 6-11.
Levinson overpowered the Aces. The Sacramento right-hander allowed 4 hits over 8 innings, while recording 13 punchouts. With the win, he is 1-0 on the season.
"I had a good game plan," said Levinson. "I made my pitches." His manager concurred. "It was all there," Justin Lake said, "the velocity, the sharpness of his pitches."
