Sounds catcher Damien Chase left his imprint on his team's 8-3 win over the Reno Aces. Chase went 2 for 3 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He drove in 4 runs and scored once for Nashville in the contest. Glenn Schenfeld got credit for the win, improving to 1-1. He allowed 3 runs on 9 hits in 5.1 innings. The loss drops Reno to 7-12.

With Nashville leading 4-3 in the bottom of the fifth, Chase hit a curveball from Mitchell Joseph for a 3-run home run. It was his 1st home run of the season and put the Sounds ahead, 7-3.
