The Reno Aces defeated the Winnipeg Goldeyes, 8-1, at Blues Stadium. Luke Martin produced 1 single and 1 double, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2. The loss makes Winnipeg 9-9.

With Reno leading 1-0 in the bottom of the second, Martin hit a fastball from Wally Byron for a 2-run double. It was his 3rd double of the season and put the Aces ahead, 3-0.

"We swung the bats good throughout the lineup," said Reno skipper Ross Winfrey.
