The Victoria HarbourCats scored a tight, 3-2 win versus the El Paso Chihuahuas at Security Service Field. Victoria pitcher Jack Brent held his own in the contest. Victoria pitcher Shane Hylton got the win. He's now 2-0. Elliott Welch was tagged with the loss. The win gives Victoria a record of 7-11.

The decisive blow was delivered by Trajano Langlois in the bottom of the ninth when he hit a solo home run off 27-year old left-handed pitcher Elliott Welch to win the game for Victoria. The home crowd went nuts.

Victoria manager Ricky Ugalde called it "a darn good win."
