The Iowa Cubs knocked off the Albuquerque Isotopes, 6-5, at Principal Park. It took 12 innings. Lee Baskin was a prime reason Iowa won. The right fielder hit 2 home runs, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice. Benjamin Hullis earned the win in relief. The left-hander allowed no runs on 2 hits in 3 innings. He upped his record to 1-0. Albuquerque now is 7-9.

In the bottom of the 12th, with the score tied, Baskin hammered a solo home run to win it for Iowa.
