Sacramento Gets Riveting Walk-Off Win
The Sacramento River Cats defeated the New Orleans Baby Cakes, 7-5, in 10 innings. Much of the credit belonged to third baseman Remy Patrick, who was 3 for 4 with 2 doubles. He drove in 2 runs for the River Cats. The win went to Alex Russell in relief. His record improves to 1-0. Dave Durand took the loss. Sacramento sits at 7-7 in the early going.

Sacramento got a game-changing hit from Olivier Parenteau. The second baseman blasted a 2-run home run in the bottom of the tenth inning to win the game. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a winner.
