ThunderSharks Take Tight Tilt, 4-3
The Edmonton Edge could not turn a fine performance from pitcher Elton Ghiloni into a win. Instead, the Honolulu ThunderSharks prevailed, 4-3. Ghiloni threw 5.0 innings allowing 2 runs. Picking up his 2nd save was 25-year old right-handed pitcher Zuriel Poindexter. The ThunderSharks have stumbled out of the gate, getting only their 2nd win in 13 games.

Honolulu second baseman R.J. Aragaki contributed a timely at-bat in the bottom of the seventh. With two down, he hit a fastball to center field for a run-scoring single. It was his 15th hit of the season and put the ThunderSharks ahead, 4-1.

"It's a long season," said Aragaki. "We'll keep working to improve."
