Omaha played host to Victoria at Werner Park.

The Omaha Storm Chasers licked the Victoria HarbourCats, 10-3. Patrick Pollack deserved a big chunk of the credit. The first baseman went 3-3 with a home run, 2 doubles, and was hit by a pitch. He scored 2 times and drove in 2 for the Storm Chasers. Thomas Shear went 6.2 innings for Omaha to pick up the win. The right-hander was charged with 3 runs. He scattered 7 hits, while walking 2 and striking out 7. His record improves to 2-2. Getting the save was J.J. Jones, his 1st.

Ernest Nelson had a big 3-run home run for the Storm Chasers in the bottom of the seventh inning. With Omaha leading 6-3 and runners on 1st and 3rd, he got a fastball from Elijah Beckham and swatted a home run to left. It was his 2nd home run of the season, and more importantly, it put the Storm Chasers ahead, 9-3.

"We did the things that it takes to win a game," said Pollack.

With the win, Omaha goes to 5-11.
