In a tight contest at Principal Park, the Omaha Storm Chasers edged the Iowa Cubs by the score of 5-4. Omaha designated hitter Eudoxio Almanza, who blasted 1 home run, was a key contributor. Earning his 1st save for Omaha was B.J. Butler. Now 4-6, the Cubs have not played well this season.

With Omaha leading 1-0 in the top of the third, Almanza hit a changeup from LaTroy Meridy for a 3-run home run. It was his 2nd home run of the season and put the Storm Chasers ahead, 4-0.

"Anytime you're seeing it well, it's a good feeling," Almanza told the Omaha Observer.
