Baby Cakes, Matthews Pin Bad Loss on Wranglers
The New Orleans Baby Cakes used an offensive barrage to beat the Oklahoma City Wranglers, 10-2, at Wranglers Ballpark. Zachary Matthews led the way, going 4-for-4 for New Orleans. The winning pitcher was Oscar Spuck. He tossed 109 pitches over 7 innings, allowing no runs on 7 hits. Oklahoma City is 4-5 after the defeat.

New Orleans catcher Phillip Yoo contributed a timely at-bat in the top of the fourth. With two down, he hit a fastball to center field for a 2-run single. It was his 1st hit of the season and put the Baby Cakes ahead, 4-0.
