The Round Rock Express defeated the El Paso Chihuahuas by the score of 15-5. Scotty Morris starred for Round Rock, going 4-for-6 with 2 home runs. Josè Jusino earned the win, while 24-year old right-handed pitcher Lonny Kelly took the loss for El Paso. Now 4-6, the Chihuahuas have not played well this season.

Round Rock third baseman Wyatt Paris contributed a timely at-bat in the bottom of the first. With two down, he hit a fastball to center field for a 2-run single. It was his 9th hit of the season and put the Express ahead, 3-0.

"I'm proud of the boys for pulling through," said Express manager Chris York. "The wins don't come easy for this team, but everyone's got an extra jump in their step after a game like this."
