On Road, Albuquerque Drops Honolulu, 1-0
|
The Albuquerque Isotopes claimed a close win over the Honolulu ThunderSharks, due in large part to Vic Mallery. The Albuquerque right-hander pitched a great game to secure the 1-0 win. The win gives Albuquerque a record of 3-2.
Dustin Lange had a direct impact on the outcome. Lange contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the third inning to put Albuquerque up, 1-0.
"Runs were at a premium," said Albuquerque manager Ryan Thrasher.
