Goldeyes Win Streak Reaches 7
|
The Winnipeg Goldeyes beat the Round Rock Express, 4-2, at Dell Diamond. The Goldeyes got a fine performance from catcher Milo Billingsley, who was 1-2 with a home run and was hit by a pitch, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Picking up his 4th save was 25-year old right-handed pitcher Isaiah Chaiman. The defeat makes Round Rock 2-5.
Early in the game, Billingsley had a 3-run home run for Winnipeg. It was his 3rd home run of the season and put the Goldeyes on top, 3-0.
"Put the ball in play and good things will happen," said Billingsley.
